i occasionally get emails asking me to join the site. would it be worth it if not living in charlotte? i am unable to attend their events most of the time.

DeAngelo is on chat just about every Thursday at 8 pm. They also have a yardage poll where you win some sort of a prize at the end of the year if you are the closest to being correct. This year, the prize is that DeAngelo and Stew are visiting the guy's house.

Hard for me to judge whether or not that's "worth it" for others.

doesn't most of the 34.28 go to some charity? i may have to sign up for the chat and the off chance of winning the prize. i definitely wish i was closer to charlotte though and able to attend all the events.

Yes, I believe the 34.28 (or some portion of it) goes to DeAngelo's breast cancer charity, but I'm not 100% sure.
