What Are The Procedures Now Regarding Names, Likeness, etc. for NFL Merchandise?

I was just thinking, if I'm not mistaken, the NFLPA had to sign off on allowing games like Madden to use the players names, photos, etc. So what is going to happen to Madden now if the NFL is still locked out in late-July or September? Will there not be any Madden if there isn't a CBA?

And what about things like jerseys? Will they cease to produce any more jerseys until a new CBA is reached?

It just seems very weird right now. I saw Schefter on SC this morning and they were talking about how Chris Cook (IIRC) from the Vikings was arrested recently for pulling a gun on someone in a fight, but he can't be punished because there isn't any player conduct policy now. They also said there isn't a drug program (have fun Ricky Williams!) and that players won't even be able to be punished retroactively. This is crazy.

Why do you think the players were pushing so hard for this, duh!

On the real thou(H)GH, I expect we will see quite a few players comeback with a lot more bulk than they had before.
