Staying at the brand new Cosmopolitan Hotel, and WOW is this place swanky! My flight was delayed at Charlotte-Douglas for 2 hours because the Captain deemed the planed unflyable. There was a problem with one of the power generators, apparently. That being the case, I was "happy" for the delay. Not happy to be delayed, but happy the delay was because the plane we were intended to fly on could have ended in a fiery headline on your choice of news network website. Anyhow, after the 5 hour flight, I'm in my room exhausted and climbing in bed. Playing 18 holes at Paiute Golf Resort tomorrow, then the company conference gets cracking Tuesday, bright and early. It should be a great 4 days! I plan on not being "that guy" that becomes the story of the office place. Wish me luck! :lol:
