Do you plan to boycott the NFL?

I was a huge MLB fan until they went on strike. Now i don't even watch the World series. They have lost me. The NFL is heading the same way if they miss playing time. I will spend my time and money on other things.

I did the same thing. If there is a strike by the players I would definitely stop watching it. I think this is not so much the players crying for more money, but to even out the retirement etc. I can understand the owners doing what they are doing. I do blame the NFLPA for this. Smith did not do any player, owner, fan a favor. So to answer the question of this thread, no I will not boycott at this time, but if it crosses over to far as the players crying fault, then I will.

I understand where you are coming from OP, and honestly, I've thought about it too. the only way it would work is if a crap load of people got together and decided to not watch anymore football out of spite.

I dont care if there is no football this year.. Im a Panthers fan, but I get season tickets to Oregon, and I dont mind having 2 #1 overalls in back to back years. Fug em.

The only way i'll stop supporting the NFL is if they adopt a financial agreement like the MLB. The mlb is a joke.

The most popular sport, you think a small percentage (and it would be very small percentage) of fans leaving is going to hurt? Most teams have huge waiting lists. New fans come every year. That small percentage wouldn't even be missed very much at all.

Although if it makes you feel better, your choice.

I don't feel nearly as ill about the lockout because I think our team is terrible. I mean if we had a good team, then I'd be pulling my hair out. I'm not happy about the lockout by any means, and I want to watch the Panthers good or bad, but I'll watch assuming we're back in 2012.

Just the thought of Saints fans spending a year and a half with this...
