McNabb with Newton?

Drafting Newton and bringing McNabb aboard to be the starter and tutor Newton for a year or so? McNabb really taught Vick on work ethic which seemed to really help Vicks overall game. McNabb would be a ticket seller if anything else and he is a winner for the most part. Both are better than what we have. Just saying.

How much of a tutor has McNabb been? He would have to come in here knowing his role which I'm not sure he is willing to accept.

Can't get on-board with McNabb, regardless of Newton or no Newton. If we were WCO, yeah. Coryell? No.

I don't want to be the Redskins of last year. I would all for Palmer but I just don't think McNabb can function outside of a WCO... plus his contract is ridiculous... we won't pick that up.

We'll be running a vertical attack offense, a variation of the Coryell offense.

You also have to keep in mind that there's no real WCO being run now to my knowledge, they're all variations that use more vertical routes than the original did.

A lot of people fail to realize that McNabb's roots have grown out of a west coast offense. That's all they ran in Philly. If anything he'd be a better mentor for Clausen before he leaves to go to his next team after he's cut or traded seeing as his skill set is better matched for a wco.
