The Saints showed poor judgement signing a player who doesn't have the sense to take care of himself. Painful as it was the Panthers did the right thing.

The possibility of winning clouds many organization's judgement, let's hope 32 teams say no.

Man I was so happy he finally called it quits last year because I didn't want to see the guy maybe go out as scrambled eggs in the noggin especially when he has a family. I hate to say it and hope there is no reason for it but I hope the Saints had him sign every possible waiver ever in the history of waivers.

i am sure the doctors cleared him to play..so i am not worried about him takeing a hit thay will nock him out...you all have to reme most players play injured most of the time so a year off may have cleared up those nagging pains and he may well be just as good as he was ...

but with the NFL going under so much fire about concussitons i dont think they would reinstate him if they felt he ran any big time risk...a year off can do wonders...that and he is playing OLB

i am sure the NFL would not let him back in if they felt that he could hurt to bad

you have to know most NFL players have brain injurys long after they are done with the football.its just apart of the game...the NFL would not take the risk of leting dan in if they felt his health was at risk..because if so there pockets will be at risk.

Well the year off could of done him some good but i doubt it .

Might help with his body but not with concussions. The more you get the easier it is to get them. One more and I would figure the NFL would make him retire under the new rules.
