I disagree. The Hurney interview was great, for example. And of course everyone is going to post the interviews and video links as teams go through the process. It's draft time and there is no free agency or trades, so it's either the draft or orchid collecting.

But that doesn't mean we have to bait people with bumps of old threads.

I don't mind debate. Just don't debate so passionately and then try to claim no bias. I try to keep an open mind and remain reasonable in my arguments, yet I am also smart enough to realize that I am in the Hugger corner and will likely see things from that perspective. However, just bc I am a Hugger doesn't mean I am not correct.

I would just like for "haters" to admit they are bias in a certain direction just like Huggers like me are. Quit acting like you are the only ones that are sane.

BTW I don't really view myself as a blind Hugger of Cam but instead of fighting you guys I just have embraced it :)

If Cameron Newton is the pick, he would have to sit out longer than most first round QB's of the past because there likely will not be the normal amout of rookie camps and mini camps due to the lockout. He may not even be ready to play by mid season for this reason but neither would any drafted QB. Therefore I disagree with the assesment that he gives us the best chance to win.

IMO, the one position that would be at a lesser disadvantage from missing valuable training time would be CB. Since Patrick Peterson is also a great returner...I think that he would give us the best chance to win right away.

This is the reason that I don't want Cameron as the pick...if he is, I support his development and would pull for his success, but I do not think that he should be the pick.

PP7 would also be a good pick bc he fills two positions in one player. I don't think Cam is as far away as you do and he is my number 1 but I will get pumped over PP7

Hurney already said that having no rookie camps wont affect drafting a QB and he will be drafting QB more for the future of franchise

I'll admit that I've spoken for others on this topic, but speaking purely for myself right now, I can tell you I have zero personal feelings about Cam Newton, or any other player in this draft.

It's just football, folks. Do your personal feelings get affected by who the football team signs or drafts? Mine don't. If yours do, I'd have to ask "why"?

I don't think the Panthers should take any of the QBs in this draft, for reasons I've stated repeatedly (ditto the receivers). Quarterback would be better addressed via trade. failing that, free agency.

No personal feelings required.

Can people come to a different conclusion thoughtfully and intelligently? Sure they can. But calling people who disagree haters and racists doesn't exactly serve to make people think that's what you've done.

I don't have a personal bias against any prospect but I do not want to take a quarterback. In a way, I can see how that is a bias against a position, if not a particular player... but it's not like I'm going to be upset at all if we do take a QB. Just think we'd be a better team going a different direction this draft.

Not like we absolutely need to draft a QB this draft or be stuck with what we have forever.

However there are some posters (not you, Mav, or TRD) that make comments like hes a thug, character issues, Scam artist, and those are not reasonable arguements. Even though Cam supporters dont agree with a lot what you say. You actually have more class than those REAL Cam haters
