Um, drafting a project QB is less likely to make us better next year.

How so when everyone agrees taking a corner number 1 over is the last thing anyone should do. Petterson is great i like him alot and even if he is as great as we think we'll never know it because,like all great corners teams will just throw away from him. That pretty much means he'll have even less impact.

It's a figure of speech. I mean most people given the chance are going to look at a QB, RB, or a great Offensive Lineman to build a team around. History has shown that especially in the Panthers organization the only one they haven't addressed in the first round in awhile is the QB.

I now have PP rated over Green for the no. 1 overall pick, for no other reason but he does not have to have a QB throwing him the ball to impact games.

As of week 17 of the 2010 NFL season vs. Tennessee he had 44 come from behind 4th quater wins. I would say that he has the ability to take a game over.

I agree with those saying that PP not only fits our situation (going against 3 great QBs in the division) but it's a safe pick. He can play now.
