Fist Fight...

I destroyed this kid in 3rd grade because I hated him and I didn't know any better.

We were watching Miracle on 34th Street and he just wouldn't shut up. I pounced on him and left him with many bruises and bloody. The teacher was hysterical.

My dad, Staff Sergeant and Drill Instructor USMC, whooped my ass so bad and told me if I ever attacked anyone like that again he'd attack me.

^ That is why I never picked a fight again. I obviously could defend myself when necessary, but my old man made me promise to never throw the first punch again, and I listened.

Funny part is if I got really mad and wanted to fight someone I'd dare them to hit me so I could retaliate. Amazing how that approach scares most people off

Only one fight.

HS, waiting for the bus after school. After school sports cancelled for the day, so lots more dudes than normally sitting around making trouble.

My friend, a complete idiot, decides to launch a crushed can of soda in to an open bus window.

It hit a GIANT burnout. Splashed some soda on him too.

He rightfully got off the bus. My buddy starts literally cowering behind me.

Christ.

Today, I might Ole' him and say "he is all yours, stupid turd shouldn't have done that"...

but this is HS so I said "My buddy is sorry, get back on the bus"

He says "fug you and your buddy"

I say "No, fug YOU"

He starts windmilling, and he should have known better since i had the high ground on some steps. Got him once on the chin, he fell back and the sound of his head hitting the pavement was melonesque.

His buddies put him back on the bus and that was that.

I try to avoid entanglements and can usually talk my way out of most things.

That one, my one and only "fight", to this day bothers me.

My "friend' is no longer even my friend and is/was a complete dipshit.

The burnout was justified in his actions.

What time is it.....:D

To be honest, I fought a bunch from when I was about 5 up to my 30's. We moved to El Monte (Los Angeles Area) from Fresno, CA when I was about 8 and I was in enemy territory. Since I was alone, I would get thugged by the local gangsters so I fought literally on the way to school or on the way home. It was bad, really bad. I lived through it because back then, weapons were frowned upon so most kiddie fights were fists only. One time I was getting jumped by some teenagers and broke a pop bottle and used it to drill a circle in one of their belly's. I had a very tough family and was used to the violence but my Mom flipped out and we moved to the coast. All that work for nothing, :D.

I must have lost my first 100 fights or so. After that, I was pretty much "seasoned" and could take care of myself.

We have a family responsibility to defend wimmen and the weak so fighting was accepted as long as it was done honorably.

Ok, the last fight I got into was about 2 years ago. I was at my favorite watering hole in the middle of the day after dealing with the Ex-ife in court. Not in the best of moods.

There were a couple of tought looking guys I did not recognize talkking to a lady who looked scared. The bartender is a friend of mine and knows my background and said those guys were harassing the girl. She asked me to go talk to them.

When I went up and asked the girl if she was alright, one of the guys got in my face and asked me who theF I was. I told him my name and he said the other guy just got out of prison and if I didn't want to get my ass kicked, I better shut up.

Both of them were bigger than me but like I said, I was not in a good mood.

I looked at the bigger guy and said I am always willing to let somebody try to kick my ass. He got up, I hit him in the head with a pitcher of beer and elbowed the other guy in the face.

They both go down and I am alternately kicking them in the head and ribs so that I can keep them on the ground. Meanwhile, the bartender called the cops and they show up and started laughing. They worked the area and were on duty about a year earlier when I got into it with some a-hole neighbors and knew I could handle myself.

Anyhoo, the cops took them to the hospital and the prison guy got sent up again. Never saw his buddy again.

one of my fav fight moments was 6th grade. All week long the class bully had been hassling me.

As I was in line walking into music class(it was a Thrs) I feel this push and I knew who it was.

So I started from the front with my fist, came all the way back around and connected PERFECTLY on his nose. The blood flowed and it's just me and him standing in the middle of class. My fists clenched and heart pounding.

He goes, come on pstall, I was just joking around. I knew I had the leverage and yelled at him to never do it again and to leave people alone. Of course had he come after me I might not be typing this now.

Teacher sends us to the principals office and he just let us sit there. The princp left his office for like an hour and he and i kinda patched things up. Dude walks back in and goes you guys good? Yes sir. We leave and i was a hero from that day forward.
