I think it was the worst referring game in a while. Arsenal got totally rapped by ref... I take nothing away from Barca, they owned Arsenal in 1st half but Arsenal was in position to win it until ref gave Van Persie a red card. I highly doubt we'll see this ref ever again.

barca put on an absurdly dominating performance in the first half. i know arsenal was protecting their lead on aggregate, but it was embarrasing. messi should be forced to wear weights around his ankles. sadly, his footwork and touch on the ball would still be better than everyone else in the world.

i watched the second half on fox sports yesterday. they threw the guy out for kicking the ball 1 second after the whistle...

soccer is a great sport but every call is at the refs discretion and the card system is a joke. they should look to other sports that have changed the rules so that things are more absolute (no more intentional or unintentional face mask just a face mask).
