Favorite Movie Franchises

Man, there are some horrible sequels on this list.

There are so few "franchises" that I like because the sequels ruin it (Alien, Predator, ...Alien Versus Predator, Star Wars, Terminator, Jurrasic Park, Transformers (pysch, even the first one sucked))

The only ones that I could say I was a fan of the franchise are:

Austin Powers

Lord of the Rings

Bond

I said other than Bond, LOTR, etc. people so stop mentioning the obvious ones....that was the point!! haha

I'm probably alone on this one but I actually really liked The Lost World, the 3rd one was feckin terrible, but Jeff Goldblum is tha man :D

Sadly there aren't many...

I am surprised The Godfather hasn't been mentioned but maybe that is a Yankee thing.

I'd also have to go with Jurrasic Park, Toy Story, and Rocky (although the last one might be the worst thing I ever watched). Other than that, I can't even think of many sequels that I liked. Never been into superhero movies or the Bond thing (not that they aren't good).

I tried to take the obvious ones like The Godfather out of discussion with the first post

@Boo: Totally forgot about Wayne's World!!!

The first one was great. II and III not so much...

#2 is actually my favorite. The lead female villain was terrible in the 3rd but thought the movie still kicked as$. I mean, its Wesley Snipe killing goofy vampires with Mos Def & other good hip-hop in the background. That's about as legit as it can get haha :hat:
