If this true (which it doesn't sound correct) I like it. It means Hurney can't screw up an trade down so we miss out on Fairley and Dareus.

Hmm.. I'd heard that if we lock out, then we not only get this year's #1 and next year's #1 too. Would that mean that:

A) New England gets our #2 next year too? If so, AE's price tag just got even steeper.

B) If we trade the pick:

1) Who the hell would be stupid enough to trade in this crappy draft?

2) Would they get next year's #1 spot as well? Or is it limited to just this year's?

C) Again, who the hell would be stupid enough to want to trade up with no CBA in place?

The only consolation prize of not having football would be the chance to draft Luck, but then again, I'm not so sure I want him after his stunt this year. Heck, I'm not sure he's going into the NFL at all now. He may end up just graduating and going on to become an Engineer or something...
