Another Foot Found

Another detached foot has washed up on a beach in British Columbia, reports a Canadian news radio station.

The discovery was reported late Sunday by News 1130 in Powell River.

The station's website says the find was reported by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which says it's a running shoe with what appears to be human remains inside. The foot was found on a beach in Powell River.

The B.C. Coroner's Service will now be investigating whether the remains are in fact human, News 1130 reports.

If the foot is in fact human, it would be the 11th detached foot to wash up ashore in British Columbia and Washington state over the past few years.

Seven detached feet have washed up in British Columbia and three have been found in Washington state.

All but one of the previously discovered feet were in running shoes.
