With the 65th pick in the 2011 draft

Here's a question... would you guys support Hurney trading next year's 3rd rounder along with this year's 3rd rounder to move into the mid-2nd to take Marvin Austin to ensure that we get him? Keep in mind we're likely getting a late 3rd as a comp. pick for Peppers, but those picks can't be traded.

No. Educate me, but I never saw him do much at UNC. A bunch of poetential and hype. In addition, I read somewhere that his teammates called him "talented but selfish,"

He is a specimen. 4.9 40, 310 + and quick. plays high at times, from what I saw.

I realize in the third round you take what is there, but I would trade up for someone like Paea or Taylor or Wilkinson, or Luiget. First rounders who fell. I would not trade up to reach for a low second, high third rounder.

In the third, I expect one talent will fall to 65.

HERE IS ANOTHER QUESTION: Does anyone think we should take advantage of the depth at DT in this draft and take 2? Multiple players at one position? Have we ever done that? ;)

Marvin Austins only problem at UNC, is that he wasn't always disciplined. He always had a motor and made plenty of hustle tackles, so I don't know where that came from. I believe the discipline thing was more about him trying to put up numbers than anything else though. Let's face it, numbers get the scouts attention, and Austin wanted to be in the league.

I liked that Phil Taylor kid a lot though. He's the type of run stuffing DT we need right now and he can certainly move better than Kemo could.
