Attacked by virus on huddle

I've had this happen before when visiting the huddle page and closed it out. However, when my wife was visiting another page it came up and she clicked yes, not knowing what it was and got the virus. Once it happens, it is a bitch to get rid of because it won't let you go to another webpage, won't let you access any other program files, etc without buying their software. However, you can get rid of it by restarting your computer in Safe Networking Mode, then downloading Malaware Bytes Anti-Malaware, and running it while in Safe Mode. It will find the virus, you remove it, and things should be as good as new.

So it happened to me for the 4th time... A pop window pops up telling me my pc is inficted with virus and it promts me to download something from 3rd party website which infact is a virus. I tho maybe something was wrong with my laptop... Then it happened on my brand new pc while surfing huddle and now it happened on my pc at work.

Does this happen to anyone else?

It's not from the huddle itself.

I had a thing pop up yesterday stating that this site wasn't safe and there was something attempting to do something. This is the second time it's happened. I use Kaspersky.

Same thing JUST happened to me! I also use Kaspersky. It gave a different website name but I had just logged in to the huddle.

I had this one as well, didn't see the fake virus scan though. I've cleaned them off several times in the past though :/
