they werent? funniest thing Ive ever heard. We had injuries yes, we had a lame duck coach yes but we still have players that get paid to play this game. 2-14=2-14 IMO

what do you think the record would be with a QB like Sam Bradford or David Garrard(ie, average quarterback)?

we can make the playoffs....here is how.....

when FA period starts...sign Mike Sims-Wlaker, Tommy Harris,

then resign our core guys.....if we have money get Dwill if not let him walk.....

make the trade with the Cincy...our 1 for their 4 and carson....

Draft Patrick Peterson with the #4 pick and lets go make the playoffs guys

signing fa's should really be a last resort and even then only to put a team "over the top" not generate moderate success. we have a lot of holes to fill and the best way to generate long term growth is from within. there's a reason that teams are willing to part w/their free agents. . .it's b/c they typically aren't players to build around (save a few notable exceptions). doesn't mean they are terrible in a vacuum. they can range from productive, but overpaid to just vanilla stopgaps but they are typically stopgaps in the best case
