if there's an extension, then there must be progress.

seeing as how it's only 24 hours, i would anticipate it all getting ironed out within that time frame.

One thing that I read several times today is that the NFL is bringing financials to the table. Not being able to see them was a big arguing point the NFLPA had.

Even though I don't think they should require it as part of these negotiations, if the NFL is capitulating, maybe some progress is being made.

Man, I hope we have some football this fall.

But this is nothing more than the Union needs time to look over the deal. Really doesn't mean anything unless it's good enough.

One thing that has come out is the owners have taken a 20% reduction on the billion off the top they want. I am betting another 100 million comes off or so. I have said if they need it ask for 640 mill which is 20 mill to each of the 32 teams which helps them.
