The "No Cocky Bastards" Rule...

Mr. Scot

Moose wasn't a diva.

Now, I know we all love Moose and absence makes the heart grow fonder; but, perhaps you have forgotten that many in the news media and on this board used to call Moose "leon' of the former Budweiser commercials.

There was also that little 'decoy' episode under Siefert.

Not that I care much, just saying.

What the hell? We did sign Keyshawn Johnson and most consider him as cocky and arrogant as they come. And I think JP would fall into this category also.

Keyshawn had history with Dan Henning. Peppers? No.

I think you missed the song reference.:D

No, I got the song reference. Just pointing out that Shockey fits that description too (though I doubt he "tucked his hair under his hat" for his interview).

Annnnnnnnd VY's in the house.

In a trolling mood, are we?

As some have mentioned, we did have Smith and Keyshawn.

The fact that Smith was drafted before our FO and Keyshawn had history, doesnt take away from the fact that our previous FO allowed these cocky players to be on this team despite there attitude.

Although we are/were certianley on the catious end in the whole scheme of things.

As long as your coach can handle the ego in stride, and keep it in check when necessary, then you're golden. If they can harness it and unleash it like bobby boucher in the water boy then you've really got something

I don't think it was a front office rule. I believe it was a John Fox rule.

Now the rule against signing thugs and criminals, that's a Jerry Richardson rule, courtesy of Rae Carruth.
