I guess what I really should have said is Sam Mills tasted pretty darn good thank you, so good that we have a statue of him standing outside our stadium... I'm sorry your owner was too cheap to retain him.

Now I have a question for you: how did Lake Pontchatrain taste back in '05?

I thought we weren't signing anyone until we have a new CBA...

believe it or not, there were teams in line to pick shockey up.

it came down to miami and carolina because those were the 2 he narrowed it down to.

carolina decided to pull the trigger because despite what people might think about his age and durability, he's still considered a threat to be accounted for by defensive coordinators.

Wow, shocking. I thought JR wouldn't sign anyone till a CBA was in place. And we sign Shockey; he doesn't fit that "nice guy" the panthers look for. A little torn, he seems like a dick, but he can be dangerous on the field. If he sticks who among the other three TEs get dumped (assuming)

I think we can wave goodbye to King. He doesn't come close to the do everything TE that Rivera wants. Rosario and Barnidge can develop into those guys, King....not so much....

Charlotte's kinda the same, really. Without the Casinos and the risk of drowning while sitting on your living room couch.

Dude, I live in Fayetteville & have been to all the cities mentioned. I guess you just have to worry more about being bored to death on your couch in Charlotte.
