Congrats on the signing. He will always be one of my favorite Saints of all time. He brings a lot of passion to the game & is a great teammate. Y'all just have to worry about his being injury prone. I think Jimmy Graham showed enough promise to make JShock expendible. I kinda wonder how he will adapt to Charlotte after living in Miami, NYC & New Orleans.

As much as all FO's talk about character, when all is said and done, winning football games and putting butts in the seats matters 100 times more. That's not to say that Shockey is going to get us to a Superbowl or anything, but he can help us as long as he's healthy.

Honestly, I believe Shockey fits our style of offense better than the Saints anyway. He won't be catching many short passes here.
