One thing that really bugs me

Can people stop saying, 'I have looked at the film/tape'?

Film and tape when referenced to analysing a player is using coaches tape of the whole field to see every little play even when they aren't involved.

Everyone on here are watching highlight clips on YouTube, or watched the TV programme during the season. Neither is 'film' or 'tape'.

Sorry, just with the draft process coming up more and more people are claiming to have access to a big archive of 'tape' on their favourite prospects...

...maybe it's just me.

I agree, but people are gonna keep saying film or tape no matter what, so I just roll with it. Personally, I feel better about a player when I've seen entire games, but that's still not the same as the coaches tapes.

Then why does no one embed clips of that to show a player rather than just the same old revisited YouTube highlights?

I am sure some people can and do get access to it, but what percentage of people on here do you think does?

Not many. The only people you see embed youtube highlight videos are cam supporters because they think it hides the negative.

If you watch close enough, fug it not even that close but rather just watch the play instead of the result, his flaws are easily seen.

I for one don't know how to take something and move it to my computer. I just learned how to embed youtube videos a while back. I'm not very tech savvy

This whole board is fuging hilarious. Everyone us either an armchair GM, armchair QB, armchair coach, or armchair expert flipping off at the mouth like THEY know the real deal and everyone else is wrong. I wish I didn't enjoy this site at times, as if I didn't I could never come back again and not skip a beat. Maybe I'm just getting older, but arguing and debating over every inch of this team is such a waste of time.

A writer for SI made a good point. Take out al of the Cam running the ball plays and just watch the passing plays. Not that impressive.

TRD missed the part of this thread where it is established that youtube=/="tape".

Anyone investing the time to track down game tape, which IS NOT that simple to get, isn't going to be posting on this message board 18 hours out of 24.
