The Lions just cut him, and we may need some CB depth by the looks of it. I know he played for the Lions but it looks they are trying to go younger and he was a good starter in TB.

Not at all. He bought his last year out to be with Rod Marinelli & Joe Barry in Detroit and for a bigger pay check.

He had trouble staying healthy with the Bucs. When he was healthy though, he was a very solid player.

Secondly, he WANTED more PT on a losing team, he didn't just mail it in and collect a game check.

Godfrey is a rookie. Bring in Kelly as a backup of course but his desire to play could be a great boost down the stretch.

If you have really watched the times we get burned deep, sure Lucas is getting torched but I think its due to him worrying about Godfrey.

I think guys like this come in humble and hungry to prove themselves.

With Denver's aerial attack coming to town this week, we may very well get to see CJ Wilson in action as the dime back. If he underperforms, then Kelly could be an option.
