This is as quiet/bunkered up I have ever seen the Panthers.

It's all due to Charlie Dayton and the communications department there. They employ a head-in-the-sand philosophy. When you have something really bad, I understand that. When you have something that's harmless for the public to know, I don't understand it.

Because if you were so eager to share harmless information, people would know by your silence that you are indeed harboring "harmful" information.

They are consistent with their silence, that's for sure.

We could make a move for Tom Brady and Fox would reply with, "It is what it is. Tom's a guy we've been looking at for years. We have a great system in place for him to learn under a veteran like Jake."

Perfect example...letting Bill Rosinski go...the Panthers said nothing. I don't expect them to come out and say "We didn't renew his contract because (whatever)." But would it have killed them to say "We have decided to move in another direction and we wish Bill the best." ?????

When you don't say anything, it looks like you're up to something in situations like that. Like you're afraid to acknowledge it for some reason.

This team survived Rae Carruth, quite possibly the worst PR hit any team could take. I can't think of another situation where an active member of a pro team was guilty of murder. They can't handle the departure of Bill Rosinski?
