Very good mashed potatoes

Boil about 5lbs mashed potatoes...add garlic (and salt if desired) while boiling.

When done, drain, Add an 8 oz package of cream cheese. Use mixer to mash/blend.

These are the best!

Note: I use new-white or red potatoes. Do not peel. Adds character and vitamins.

I came to the realization last weekend that instant mashed potatoes are better than real mashed potatoes.

blasphemy!!!!! you just haven't had good real mashed taters.

Peel and Boil potatoes

Put potatoes in mixer with

heavy cream,

a shitload of butter,

a little bit of rosemary,

some horseradish (only if you want a little heat),

and garlic (not garlic powder, you put some butter and garlic in a saucepan and heat and melt butter with a little bit of rosemary)

add salt and pepper to flavor.

and voila. the dankest mashed ever.

I've had great homemade mashed potatoes before, but I had some really great instants last weekend, and when you factor in laziness, instant cannot be beat.

Deal with it.
