I'm not gonna lie, that's disturbing. But, mainly because owls aren't like regular birds... their heads and eyes are so huge it was like he was kicking a small person.

Just putting it in perspective. If this were a squirrel with equal intelligence nobody would care. And most people don't have a problem with inhumane slaughter of other birds for consumption.

But if the animal is cute then let's employ the death penalty?

Id say it wouldn't matter the type of animal, it was their mascot.

If it was a freaking skunk I think they would still be pissed just b/c that was the symbol of their team, etc, etc.

Id be pissed if we had a real panther and someone kicked it to death :)
