I think people are gonna start seeing that Gabbert isn't a joke. Strong arm, good measurable's, natural leader... think he will surprise with passing on his pro day.

You could have a point. Cam has sure taken the spotlight from him. Gabbert's pro day will be very interesting. The interviews (when he comes here) will also tell us a lot about his brain. I was very surprised by his speed and other measurables.

Colin Kaepernick surprised me the most. I remember watching him play against Boise state and I thought the kid could play. He wasn't a good passer until this year but now I think he has a good shot at being a decent NFL Qb. I know he will be a late round pick but he could end up being a steal for the team that picks him.

I want to know what Mallets speed is, he didn't run which makes me think he decided not to run because he is slow but he is Taller and weighs more than Cam and has a better arm but yet Cam is projected to go way before Mallett. Mallet is a qb I would love to see us get I mean he has great size and he had great stats while playing in the toughest conference in college football. I would love to see us trade down and use a second round pick on the kid but I don't see it happening.

I was impressed with Kaepernick as well but have not seen him on film enough to rate him.

I am not sure I follow: Cam and Gabbert will be in a pro-style offense soon. Perhaps we shall see. Why do I get the feeling I did when everyone was debating Jamarcus Russell and Brady Quinn? Hope the results are different.

You are right on the money. Gabbert's stock will soar after his pro day. Things will become a lot more clear at that point. He will probably complete 49/50 passes with great arm strength and very good accuracy.

Gabberts best trait is his accuracy on the run.. which is extremely important.. especially with the oline problems we had last year. Gabbert's accuracy on the run is way better than anyone else in this draft.
