Cam isn't the first to be shopped and won't be the last. It is a college issue. If caught he should have been punished. We ain't talking college football.....this is professional. This is a league where teams forgive a Vick, a Leonard Little,.......and where no nonsense teams like for people to ignore the fact a face of their franchise punches teammates in the face, kicks opponents in the head, and will verbally assault players and coaches when he gets in the mood.

Couldn't care less. I don't want him here as I don't think he'll be very good in the NFL. And as an Auburn fan, but not a crazy fan, I saw my team win a championship. Cheated? Who cares. I saw the win and celebrated. Strip them of anything you want now. Strip Cam of anything you want. It's all in the past. Sort of like how Reggie Bush's issues were no big deal last year. Had this tape talk come out during the season...well that's a different story. You can blame the NCAA on that one. I'm in the third camp on Cam. If the Panthers take him, fine. If not, fine. I would like to hope they know more than the fans. nuthuggers or haters.

Armanti Edwards will never play QB in the NFL, and he is nowhere near as talented as Newton. Even the real haters have to know that by now.

Irregardless of how you feel about Newton as a person or a player, this hurts us as an organization. One of few options for a trade out of #1 was that someone fell in love with a player enough to move up. Cam was just such a prospect that might have teams move up to get the latest must have. This hurts our options, even if we didn't want to take him.

No its not. From a PR stand point you are done with your interviews and your done with the combine. All you have is your pro day and the Draft. If there ever was a time to try to sabotage a player its now. If this came out days after the draft then that would be a bad time. Right now Newton is facing a poor showing at throwing drills so it a perfect time for more rumors. Even if the tapes do not surface they will just be another attack coming from all sides on this kid.

Heard the same stuff last year about Clausen. Most pro ready, Great Arm Strength all dispoved by the 2010 Panthers Season. Underthrew LaFell by 5 yards and Gettis by 8 on passes that were 45 yards....

Sick of the hype about this damn athlete freak that could be a good TE in the NFL, but a QB he will not.
