Its just always something though like recently with the media making it seem like he through combine wide outs under the bus. Funny they don't report him mentoring kids or how his teammates an coaches talk about how high is character is,great teammate he is etc.

No my friend you cant although its clear. He has thing, after thing, after thing and any one of them are serious enough not to draft this kid. And honestly from a pure football standpoint I don't touch him. I need a QUARTERBACK, not a ATHLETE trying to be one. I am standing on my opinion this kid is going to set some franchise back several years and cost them several million.

Urry, stop. You have Cam nuthuggers that are either going to blame it on racism or anything else other than the fact this kid has done all of these things and collectively its MUCH more than just about any kid coming out in I don't know when.

This kid has more flags than the UN and that is all there is to it. Add to that he only had one season in D1 and his accuracy and footwork (quarterbacking not running) sucks and the kid shouldn't be a first round pick at all, but he will.

Mallett was written off because of his possible drug situation to the extent that despite putting up some impressive numbers and having fantastic measurables and throwing mechanics, he was never a consideration for the 1st round. That is why no one cares about him here, because he was never in play for us.

The fact that Cam is in play despite the red flags shows that people are mostly over looking his misdemeanour's.

Mallett got harrassed by the media, Newton had a few stories posted and everyone accepted his apology. His past has generated the rest. Seriously 12 tickets in 2 years...

Dude, BS. I've seen talk of Mallett being in the first round. Hell, I've seen people say "I'd rather we take Mallett #1 over Newton because of Character Issues".

Or the fact he stole from team mates lockers etc right? As for as the mentoring kids etc, that is all media driven by his handlers.

Let me ask you a question. How many coaches and team mates ripped Ryan Leaf the year he came out? None. why? It just isn't done. It hurts the college program and makes future NFL guys look petty and unprofessional.

Why would the huddle post a Mallett interview when no one wants him with the first pick? Everyone was talking about Fairley being dirty and him supposedly being lazy. Now I don't see many people wanting Fairley taken first so no one talks about his issues. Cam is a potential first pick so the huddle is going to talk about him. That's how it goes.
