Talent is measured different by you, I, and scouts. Look at all the scouts that are loving Gabbert, Do you know why? He could explain to them all types of coverages and what to do and how to react. He had the best QB interviews. To some people, that is being talented in recognizing what to change pre-snap and to adjust.

Clausen might have, not, or ever will be as talented, but look at what scouts said.

Great accuracy

Gets rid of ball quickly

Very decisive with the football

Name one of the 5 strengths listed for him that he actually did during this year. He was hyped as the next big thing coming into college, coming out of college he was still hyped even without the National Championships or big wins. I didn't want Clausen and I definitely do not want Newton. Call me a hater, but the kid is an athlete not a QB.

So what's your point? That we should never draft another QB because the scouts are always wrong?

Probably not. It really is likely meaningless.

I will say one more thing. If this tape in really that incriminating don't expect ESPN to care. They have a cash cow in the SEC and they will destroy whatever credibility these guys do have to protect it.

A part of me hope they are true just to watch the entire SEC squirm a little bit.

I don't care how talented he is, if I was a GM I wouldn't want the circus that Newton is going to bring to a franchise. Not just this year, but for years to come. He is TO Diva level.

Anyone find it funny that it's just the successful, legendary season having, young, iconic type black players (Newton, Bush, etc.) that get info like this "leaked" out on them?

This isn't to spark racial debate on the huddle, just an observation. Because players all over college are taking benefits - white, black, green, red, yellow, orange, whatever... I just find it funny that it's these two who are getting stuff leaked out about them and what they did.

A few links provided below... but a friend of mine was listening to Scott Moore, who was just on 680 the Fan in Atlanta who mentioned this to me..

Key points:

1. He and John Bond are very old friends.

2. The tapes will prove 100% that Cecil shopped Cam around to UT, MSU, and Auburn...AND that Cam knew about it.

3. Two weeks to release the tapes to do their due dilligence. Going to enlist the help of law enforcement to authenticate the tapes so no one can say he (or someone else) created them.

4. The NCAA has heard some of the tapes, but not all the tapes.

5. The NCAA encouraged Auburn to sit Cam before the UGA game.

Oh this has been talked about for a few weeks now. They are just making sure that an independent firm confirms they are legit and not manufactured or altered.

At some point in the next 3 years Auburn loses that national championship and Cam the Heisman you can just about bank it.

Oh and further proof, Cam is POS that this franchise should have no part of. I really don't know how many more red flags it is going to take for the fans to get this.

either he's innocent or guilty.. if it's all fake, then you just got all upset over nothing..
