Putting pressure on the QB will make average CB's better, doesn't work the other way around, look at the CB's the Steelers are able to get away with.

If your picking between Gabbert or Newton, Newton is the safer pick. While he has a lot to work on we dont know what monsters lie beneath with Gabbert. Him not throwing shows he had something to hide.

I will wait to see his pro day before making any judgemetns on his arm and accuracy....just have not seen enough tape on him to make an intelligent evaluation.

After all the crap Cam has taken, I don't blame Gabbert one bit for not throwing. I just hope people realize that the pro days are more like what's going to happen when they go to a team and start practicing.

Did you watch the combine? Gabbert WAS in good shape.

He actually ran the 40 in only .02 seconds slower than Cam.

Actually, a lot of teams do script the first 15 or so plays. That's not the point though and you know it. When they get to the games, they have already been throwing the same routes to the same receivers 50 times a day in practice, which is all scripted:rolleyes:.
