How the hell is Gabbert a safe pick?

The All-pro standouts obviously are the safe pick if your certain they're gonna be All-pro standouts (Green, Peterson).

What the...there are only two picks I consider closest to 'safe', Green or Peterson. We are already are the laughing stock because of last year, and becoming worse, becoming completely forgotten, right now we need as close to sure thing as we can get. To pump something back into this team. A bust would hurt us more than say the Cowgirls or Steelers in all aspects. We need to move forward and this draft and pick simply cannot fail IMO.

Gabbert could be worth the investment if you have a guy that knows how to train young QBs

Mallett is just another cookie-cutter QB prospect with all the measurables and arm strength but nothing valuable beyond that
