I'd have to think scouts, coaches and GM's were troubled by the fact that he sailed 2 out of 3 of the quick outs he threw at least 5 ft over the WR's head...

The quick out is a bread and butter throw in the NFL, if you can't consistently make that throw you can't help anybody.

The guy (Cam Newton) is a winner. He won two different championships on two different levels. With Shuler as the QB coach he will learn all the throws. If Shuler can teach Garrad he can teach Cam.

first, title fail. not what was said, but go ahead and spin it however you want. who cares about accuracy when you have a guy to hate and an agenda to make him look as dumb as possible.

fail #2: using PFT and florio as a source. PFT means "Pulled From Turd", but even at that, they didn't spin it as bad as you did, so that makes #1 look even worse.

deals with the the passing part of it, mayocks thoughts on it and mayock asking about about his one read and run stuff and cam's answer which mayock thought was a good answer, btw. they also talk about his "icon" statements to peter king. guess what? context is king. what king failed to reveal about the comments was that it was an interview about his endorsement deal and he said hes not just a football player, but he did admit that he could have chosen his words better. he posted the answer, but he didn't post the question. pretty cheap thing to do.

what makes Luck any better than Cam

As far as arm strength is concerned, I don't think there is much difference. Cam didn't play in college with the same level of discipline and attention to detail as Luck. If you simply look at Cam's footwork in college, and then look at Luck's, you can see Luck clearly has better footwork. That's just one glaring area.

But you cna coach footwork. They came out of two different sytems. From what I have been reading on this board is that our offense will be a vertical one. Cam is a vertical passer and a acurate one.
