When did I say Cam would crumble? I'm merely pointing out that I have bigger concerns than mobility.

Athleticism gives you more options when you do panic a little bit.

My point is you have to have brains first, athleticism second in the NFL.

Not saying Cam doesn't, just saying mobility is overrated in this case, IMO.

Atletisim has nothing to do with crumbling under pressure, that's all between the ears. Brady isn't athletic by many standards but he was the ability to find his guy in the face of pressure.

Escapability and mobility are nice, but they just don't compare to the other attributes.

I'll tell you this...I never saw Cam Newton look like he was panicked at Auburn. He may scramble and he may take off and run, but he always looks under control, and Rivera himself even praised his pocket presence in his interview.

I have seen Luck and Mallett when they were clearly making panic throws that hit defenders right in the chest at point blank range...in fact, Luck made a couple of those throws in his bowl game. To his credit, he made adjustments and came back strong, but it was there nonetheless

Can he read defenses? Can he make more than one read? Can he be trusted at all, what about with 50 mil in the bank? Does he have the accuracy to throw in tight window?

Unimpressive throws by Cam on outside shoulder deep ball. First is way inside, second is short.

On first throw by Cam, over shoulder he was completely off directions. Next one I saw him throw, he was dead on accuracy wise, flat footed..

All good questions, but you seem to already believe the answer is no to all of them. I mean, what evidence is there that he can't learn these things? What evidence is that the he won't be willing to spend the time to improve his game? And as far as accuracy goes, he has already shown that, and it's not hard to improve on the little things, like proper footwork, which will automatically improve his accuracy even more. Cam could easily have completed 70+% of his passes if it weren't for all the drops by his mediocre WR's.
