Locker looked surprisingly sharp on the 10 yard out rout to the left on a 5 step drop, all throws were perfect.

How can you tell anything from the combine for QB's. These guys don't have anyone in their face and most have never thrown to any of these receivers. Ryan Mallett looks strong to me. You can probably grab him in the later rounds and we should be able to sign him for a bag of powder.

Ryan Mallett looks great throwing against air, but as soon as there is pressure in his face, he pretty much falls apart. I've seen it too many times to trust him.

You can see some things, like how their footwork is on a drop, how is the footwork during a hitch, do they open their hips to throw across the body. Can they throw with touch or drive the ball. How's their placement on vertical routes?

It answes some questions.

You also get to see how they compete, how they handle the coaching, etc.
