Yas is stuck back in 2007. Fox is gone and I think it's clear Hurney and Richardson are trying to be less conservative in their approach to putting the team together.

Yas is the same one who says we're going to for sure take Bowers with the 1st pick because we took Peppers in '02 - nevermind that David Carr was #1 on our board that year. Thank God we didn't, but still... Yas doesn't seem to get that we're moving on from Foxball. Why, if they're not legitimately interested, would they bother to fly him out?

According to Rotoworld he's planning on signing with a new team prior to the CBA expiring. He is also scheduled to undergo a physical for us sometime this week from what I've read....

Yeah I saw that about signing somewhere, I was just hoping it would be here. And I thought he took his physical Saturday? Or is he waiting for Riv and Hurney to get back?

Gantt just confirmed via twitter that Shockey HAS taken a physical with the team already. I'm really hopeful we sign Shockey, he would provide a big time target in the redzone that we've been missing. Not to mention a nastiness that I wouldn't mind on offense....
