For those who believe Clausen = WCO

The Panthers are moving to a West Coast Offensive attack. If you believe he will fit in best in such a system, then the one the Panthers are inputting could work towards the benefit of Clausen. That plus giving him a well rounded TE to throw to could only make him better.

I'm not saying he's elite, but you can't honestly judge Clausen after 1 season behind an injury plauged O-Line wih Double Trouble out of the mix for majority of the season. Rookie WR's and a aging Steve Smith. That plus Davidson's brochure of predictable plays.

Not a Clausen junky, and those who label me a Clausen supporter, feel free to do so, because I support any QB the Panthers choose to have under center.

To bring this post to a close, those who believe he is better suited for a WCO (I'm one of them), this could be a chance to see if he can lead a team, or be diagnosed with David Carr syndrome.

We are? I didn't' see WCO mentioned anywhere by Rivera or the OC. I did see 'Attack down the field vertically' which is NOT WCO.

They're running a Coryell offense, the same kind San Diego runs.

It's the original, but not the one that they used in San Fran, which became what the WC is today.

Yea its far from what we know as a WCO today. WCO use crossing routes galore and the Coryell is a vertical attack offense.
