Man that's cold. I feel bad for Ponder because he had a pretty good chance to be a late 1st rounder, or at least a high 2nd rounder before his body started falling apart on him.

Seriously, I liked Ponder a lot before the injuries. Now I'm just not sure he will ever be the same again, or if he could ever finish a season in the NFL. He's a smart kid who would fit in very well with a WCO team though.

I like him. He is one of those guys that might not be great in his first year, but if you work with him, get him some weapons and let him truly develop and study, he could turn out to be a winner for you. He could turn out to be the steal of the draft. The fact that u guys dont have a second rounder makes me doubt u have a chance for him. I doubt u guys would or should spend a 1st. If I was u guys I would get Gabbert in the 1st.

if a QB isn't worth taking in the 1st round, i don't want him..best place to find your franchise QB is in the first. do't need to be messing around with other rounds. finding them past the first happens rarely. turns into a giant crap shoot after that. if it was a better idea, more teams would be doing it.

I agree. I also think that the NFL is so desperate for QBs that the QBs projected to go in the first round this year should be late first or second rounders. I would even argue that ALL of the QBs in the draft are projects and projects should not go in the first period.
