Will Joe Kenn help us cut down on injuries this year??

It isn't about staying in shape it is about special conditioning and exercises to avoid the kinds of stress and common injuries typical of particular positions.

For example receivers are susceptible to hamstring pulls so as RB intimated flaxibility and stretching would be very important. You would want them to do more plymetrics compared to a linemen who most likely suffers more knee and leg injuries as well as pectoral and bicep tears. They might benefit the most by working on chest and arm exercises as well as squats and lunges.

Honestly I expect all the players would benefit from the coaches making guys wear uniform pads at the skill positions and knee braces on the line. Seems most players think they are restrictive despite the fact they improve safety.
