Post Draft takes

I have watched several videos of the grades for the Panthers and it's nearly unanimous we did well. Mostly A or A+. 

I feel really good about our draft too. I also really like our UDFA picks too. I think the competition is going to be outstanding.

I think as the season gets closer the Panthers will add some CB and FS help. 

Finally Luke weighed in and he really analyzes the draft well.

I loved this draft. I think we have 3 starters out our first three picks. Maybe they take a year to develop but I don’t see them taking long. 
 

I think Etiene is going to be a good back up. He’s only 20 so he has a lot to improve on.  I think we will see him be used on special teams this year. He won’t get many reps unless an injury happens because we got two 1,000 yard rb in front of him.

I could see Ransom starting but I think he will probably be a back up, maybe playing special teams? I think hes probably got the lowest ceiling of all our drafted players.

Cam Jackson will be a back up, probably not a lot of snaps this year. Could end up being a solid player for us.

 

I love the Mitchell Evans pick. He’s got potential to be our top TE. He had two different injuries that set him back in college but I think if he was healthy he would have been one of the top TE in the draft. I have even more faith in him because ND makes great tight ends. I don’t know if he will play much this year unless an injury happens though. Probably just a blocking TE this year.
