The website says it's still a pre-order and will be shipped 2-4 weeks after the number is officially confirmed, which might not be until the start of the season.

But does anyone know if they're already selling these in Charlotte now that he's chosen his number and it's already listed on the team's website?

I was going to try and wait and see if they start selling baby/infant stuff with his name/number like they have for other team's top players on fanatics, as if they do, I'm absolutely getting my 1 year old Nephew one, especially as I was hoping to get the blue jersey as most of the ones I have already are black, so was hoping by then you could order his in the other colors.

But if they're about to already start shipping them out soon because he's picked his number and I might get it in a few weeks, might have to go and get my order in right now and then just order a blue one later.

Well, if you want to spend a month's worth of rent on a TMAC jersey, the NFL is auctioning TMACs first signed NFL jersey. I think 1st round picks sign one jersey, one draft card, and one mini helmet after being drafted and auction it off. I could be wrong, but about there only being one, but i saw it on the NFL auction site for people to bid on. Should still have like 12 days left on the bidding, if you're interested in something like that.

Only way fanatics improves the current product is if you don't buy it. The current FUSE jerseys are a rip off gents. Just being honest.

(I still love the panthers and am excited for T-Mac though)

My son bought a Chubba jersey recently and it looks like a Jags jersey. The colors are not even close. I will ask him where he bought it so others do not make the same mistake.

Not trying to pry, but 1 year old is too young to play football.  I stand firm on that position. ...Wasn't there a player who was drafted and everyone bought his jersey and then he changed the number before camp?

I haven't had a bootleg jersey in several years now but hopefully they finally fixed the Panther blue color that they never got right. I assume they have by now.

I'm color blind and could never tell the difference

I know every jersey thread goes in this direction, but I feel the need to say it.

The Chinese knockoffs are not your friend. Not only does the money not go to the panthers, but you don't control where it does go. The athletic did an excellent podcast on the business of counterfeit shirts not too long ago. I could care less about the legality of it, but the morality of it is no bueno.

Now I need to wash off the "defends billionaire class" off myself, but like don't give your money to those people. If you can't afford a jersey, just go to ebay, or a thrift store, or wear a t shirt.

Quality of the "limited" versions of the jerseys has gone so far downhill from the cam/luke days.

Fanatics is generally ruining jerseys across sports

Ugh, I didn't even realize until today that they only versions they have for T-Mac right now are the ones where everything is heat pressed on, not the "fake stitched" versions you guys are talking about here.

I've always hated those fully screen pressed ones, they just seem cheat and crappy to me, and even though that next step up is still not the best, they at least feel like more of a real jersey to me and is worth the extra 35 bucks to get them.

But of course they don't sell them in that one yet, which is weird, if they're all still "pre-orders" anyways, why aren't they offering the more expensive version to steal even more money from the rubes out there like myself who just can't help themselves?!?!?

So THAT'S why they took my guy

They knew they had at least 1 sucker out there like myself who might not be able to be patient enough for them to sell the better version so they just go out and get this one now, they saw me coming from a mile away.

LOL

    • Funny, because I think it's monumentally stupid to go in as a WR and not CB for him for two main reasons. First is that he's very slender, he has a much better chance at having a longer career as a CB than a WR because of that, and if he can't stay healthy as a WR, he's never going to get the huge contracts and play 10 years in the league like he could on the other side of the ball. The second and more important, is that CB is so much more difficult of a position to play at an elite level, you can't keep dipping your toe in and out of the water on that end and expect to be great. So if he's a full time WR, it will be really hard for him to play any CB part time and be successful at it and make it worth their while to let him to continue doing.  But if he's a full time CB, it's much easier for them to have a few select packages on offense to where he gets maybe 10 snaps a game, half as a decoy, half getting the ball in creative ways to get him space to work in and make a big play here or there. Because also if that works while being an all pro caliber CB, he'll get paid so much more than any CB due to what else he offers, which then would probably rival top WR money, but have the chance at a much longer career while doing so. He's also just a better CB than he is WR, so why go full time at your weaker position that is easier to do part time and still have success?
    • Why sign him for him to play 2-3 games before another trip to IR
    • This game would be 4-1 at worst with Freddie
