I occasionally checked in on him while he was at A&M, hoping he would blow up and become a great NFL prospect.  This is awesome.  I feel like his dad doesn’t get enough love for how great of a player he was.  I certainly hope lil Moose eventually gets on the roster…  this is the stuff movies are made of.

We need a solid returner, which he can do. And that is going to help.

But you watch his tape, against good SEC competition and the guy just has it. Just wasn't always on a good team.

And then, that bloodline... Loved watching his Dad play the game. If some of that skill and all of that football knowledge came down to him, then there will be a seat for him in the WR room this season.

I'll be pulling for him during training camp to make the final roster.

It's going to be tough to make this roster at WR. Our emphasis on the position is interesting.

That said, I love the guy as a prospect. He had some dominant games. Coming out of 2022 he was a highly coveted prospect. A&M did not have a very good passer in his tenure there. I also think he fit what Jimbo wanted to do a lot better than Elko. Hopefully, that's a good thing, as Jimbo runs a much more pro-style system. Potential high ceiling UDFA is what it's all about this time of year.

hes pretty good.  has a shot. WR room is crowded.  people may not like it but theilen may get traded to eliminate the tunnel vision to him from Bryce

Tunnel vision? Theilen is the only guy who consistently runs his routes correctly. What do you want Bryce to do?

I guess Jefferson and Adam’s should be traded too, because, you know, tunnel vision is bad.

i love it. hope he can make a mark.

i love the way our receiving corps is shaping up.

You do? Had we taken Golden, I might agree. Having him work with Theilen would have been ideal.

It all seems very disjointed and stiff to me.

    • Great write up. I think we're going to try to keep both of the guys we've gotten from the Vikings on that DE/OLB rotation. I don't think they ever had the chance to get up to speed together. And I really agree with you about Clowney.  I really think this room really is going to depend on whether our long-term goal is to continue with 3-4 (I hope not) or go back to 4-3 full time. I'm hoping the safety situation and the LB situation don't end up biting us in the butt. I just don't see where we've gotten better there yet. I hope I'm wrong about this. O-line... just when things are jelling, you find out this might be the last season the group can expect to be together... that's just our history here. Again. Any thoughts on Moose's kid, Moose 3, coming as an undrafted FA WR?
    • That’s interesting to know. He’s adjusting and conditioning to what feels like the optimal situation for him. I’ll tell you, sounds like he’s been coached very well to recognize those things, have the strong run game skills and continuing to build out his moveset. He really seems like a high floor guy that I’m just surprised lasted that long. Feel really string about him and Princely. Just tough guys with good experience, size, skills, there’s no weird outlier question marks with either of them.
    • I've been here through all of that. I'm like a cockroach. I'm not going anywhere.
