I would love to know thr real reason sanders fell so far in this draft.   Also no clue why the jets or steelers didnt take a shot on him before the browns.  Crazy if young had not improved down the stretch sanders would have probably been a panther.

I think its pretty clear.  He tanked several interviews with teams that he didn't want to play with, then word spread.  After the teams that needed a QB took a QB the other teams didn't want to deal with his drama as a backup.  In the end the Browns double dipped at QB because they the Browns.  If not he would have gone undrafted

I can answer this in detail. For player interviews, players are given a short playbook to memorize and prepare with. Has details on line shifts, hot routes, reading defenses to know where the ball should go or if the play should be checked.

One interview he was very unprepared for and bombed his white board based on said playbook. And when he was corrected on said whiteboard, he scoffed at the head coach running the interview. That was with the giants.

Another interview, he acted like he didn't want to be there and legit answered his phone during the interview.

The acting like he didn't want to be there was a prevailing detail most teams gave about him.

There's some more that's worse but I don't know if it's believable or not.

    • This is such an incrediblely stupid take. I'm one of the ones saying we need to have a better backup than Andy Dalton and it has nothing to do with any Bryce hate. Take away the names and look at capabilities of our current QB1 and QB2.  Did you not see what happened to Miami last year? Tua goes down and with 2 of the best WRs in football their juggernaut offense looks like preschool yard ball.  We need to be developing a 2nd QB if we're serious about a playoff run. Dalton showed he isn't good enough to get it done for multiple games. Now whether that means bringing in a different vet or actually trying to develop QB talent for once in franchise history, we need to be looking elsewhere to better the overall team.  Having a reliable backup is a good thing. DA wasn't great, but he was serviceable for a little bit if Cam got hurt. DC is supposed to be a QB whisper so let him whisper to 2 QBs and the team is in a better position. Injuries are part of football. You need to be as best prepared as you can be for the inevitable. I'd be making the same argument if we had Mahomes or Brady and not Bryce.
    • Looking at Scourtons tape he reminds me so much of Rucker
    • I really like this draft, not really a reach or bad pick at all in the bunch. I can see every single player drafted making an impact this season with 3 definite starters and Evans that should get a ton of snaps at TE2.   NALO has all the skills and size you look for in a WR1 and should make an immediate impact on offense. Horn will return punts as a rookie and learn a lot techniques from AT.  Scourton has the size, skills and intensity to be a day 1 starter at Strong side OLB and make a noticeable impact for the defense.  Princely will see snaps but will take a little longer than Scourton to become a starter. Needs to add functional weight and strength to his frame to be a 3 down starter.  Will break down further after my head scans.
