Watched him a lot more the season before last.  He is a fuging playmaker.  Love this pick and the potential.  And he’s overcome a lot of adversity.  Would really love to see him complete the WR room with Tet, XL, Coker, Thielen.

He will make special teams for sure. He can return punts or kicks as it is right now. Blackshear just may have lost his job today.

Isaiah Bond still available

Like Mitchell, I feel like we waited too long to address these positions. Horn has ideal traits for that slot guy but his production, particularly on an offense like Colorado had, is worrisome. Mitchell is stiff and seems to sort of be your prototypical average tight end build. He gets taken down easy by dudes much smaller and if he were a gazelle, he would never survive past being a fawn.

Anyway, this draft seems as disjointed and out of sync as in years past. I see the plan, but the guys we picked up just don’t make sense.

Mitchell is a beast. I'm happy to have him

He’s big, but I watched his highlights and I’ve looked at his measurables. Compared to Warren or Loveland he is average. He is stiff with good hands and lacks the physicality you’d expect at his size. He has soft hands and decent short area quickness but, again, his stiffness will negate the usefulness of that.

Sanders is a much better prospect all around and Tremble is as good of a receiver. Mitchell may turn out to be okay but I think that’s about as good as he will be, okay.

    • I think we’ve learned that if we’re relying on David Moore, we’ve got a problem. Youth can be a problem, too, but at least it promises to fix itself with time.
    • Do you remember the asking price by chance?  I would assume Igo has to be making some money, or the site wouldn't be worth buying. The site must be at least have to be self-sustaining. I wouldn't even want it if it wasn't at least that.  The only way I would figure that Igo would neglect the site as he has is that he has lost interest, but the site is still making money on a small margin, enough to pay for itself under current conditions, and/or he needs the money--- or is simply using the money for other things and bleeding it dry. It may be to the point that he doesn't want to put any more resources into it because it would actually cost him money. I don't know, all I can do is speculate. I do know that the site needs to be fixed. I just got my year's badge under an alt. That's crazy. It's been a year since I lost access to my regular account, and nothing has been done. Well, I guess "Top Dawg" is no more. LOL  Igo probably just has a lot going on. At least he says he's going to right the ship. We'll see.
    • First time in a long time we ger a consensus good grade on a draft.
