That sucks.  Shoulder surgery isn't good.  Those things are never quite the same.  But at least he doesn't' throw a ball for a living.

No, but he does have to throw offensive lineman and TE's around to get to the qb. It's kinda important.

Bet money it's a labrum. Very common LB injury. If he needs surgery, I'm guessing he tried to let it heal on its own and it didn't bounce back like he wanted. Shouldn't be a long term issue, especially using NFL surgeons on the team's dime

Wow. Sucks for the guy. With what we have dealt with on the Jonathan Brooks front that's the last thing we needed in the first round though. Hopefully that all works out for him.

If it was Jacksonville, it would be a real possibility.

Already considered undersized for an edge that probably doesn’t help. I’d try to put him at ILB and let him blitz frequently.

And this is a guy in college who would lose to TEs sometimes.

I was never high on him, but hate that injury is the reason he slid. Sucks for him.
