The only problem I see is there is a rumor he's not super motivated. But positionally, need, and pure talent is just right for the pick. If he puts in the work, he'll be a very good player.

This is a defense happy draft. They will grab the guys they think are worth it. Alot of picks left and tomorrow will tell the tale. BPA.was the way to go with the 8th pick. Chill out

Brown and Moehrig are difference makers. I think they'll help stop the run alot - along with Derrick Brown being back. Still worried about the pass rush. Wharton and Pat Jones are rotational pass rush specialists to me though. Need an all around edge and 2 ball hawking safeties. Maybe an inside LB too.

Last 2 with a 4.5 to go that high were Mike Evans and Mike Williams.  In college they both played bigger and more physical than he does.   That’s why I haven’t been a huge TMac fan.

without a pass rush nothing else really matters, and our two best from last year just got a year older

how can you have the worst defense in the history of the nfl and still draft another first round wr?  It quite literally doesnt make sense.  Now, what, we are going to rely on a 2nd round pass rusher to shore up things?  WTF we are a clown show
