Lmaoo...funny. this sounds like the type of stuff everybody said we be a concern about shedeur.

He's explained before that he feels "Tet" is disrespectful to his mother who named him.

And given how much their Polynesian heritage means to their family, my best guess is that the name has a deeper meaning to him and his family, so shortening it to something like that comes off as disrespectful to him/them.

Totally different than a diva like Shedeur.

I keep going on and on and on about his separation?

I challenge you to go find one post I've ever made that says he's some elite separator, but here's a little tip, you won't find it, because I've never once said it.  I've defended my guy to the death on here, but I've never once tried to lie about who he is as a player, I've recognized his faults and where he needs to improve, because I can look at who a player is without bias.

I've said he's better than some give him credit for on here, but I've also said NUMEROUS times that it's one of the areas he does need to improve upon (like every prospect at this point in their career has things to get better at).

The important question is, how quickly are you ordering his jersey???

Man the panthers really hate speedy guys with hands who can run routes and stretch the field. Their obsession with big slow receiver ‘jump up specialists’ is why they haven’t had more than one receiver consistently  worth a damn in their entire history, and he was an accident.

Really don’t like the pick. Looks like opposing defenses will continue to defend 10-15 yards and succeed.

A Ted Ginn type does us little good if Bryce’s deep ball is actually weak

As soon as the one I want is available (probably).

Looked last night and they only have the "standard" one right now, but that aint good enough for me on this one.

Authentic or nothing LOL.

Only reason I might wait a tad bit, is to just make sure whatever number he takes, he doesn't change after camp cuts if someone else has what he really wants.  I'd be pretty angry if I spent the money on an authentic jersey only for him to change his number a couple of months later.

What I really want is less of a jersey for myself, but hoping they do the the T-Shirts with his name/number on them in baby sizes so I can get one for my 1 year old Nephew.  I've got him gear from my other teams but had refused to get him anything Panthers yet as I wasn't going to saddle him with our awfulness, but now......... yea, he needs that T-Mac shirt/jersey!

Happy for you haha.  Hopefully he doesn't end up changing his number after 1 season or something lol.

That I actually wouldn't be upset about.

I'm still a little upset that I waited a year to get my Cam authentic jersey, as his rookie year was his only one with the original logo and kinda wish I had that one from Cam's rookie year.

So as long as he wears the number/jersey as a rookie, I want that rookie jersey.  If he gets a new number or we get new uniforms 2026, then I'll just get another, but at least I'll always have that rookie year one in my closet.

yeah, we don't really need a legit deep ball haymaker guy.  But we need the other aspect of Ted's game.  A dude he can take a nothing pass at the line of scrimmage or a simple hitch or crosser to the house.   Curtis Samuel would be another example when we had him in the slot w/ Teddy.

We still lack the diversity you want to see in a pass attack.  XL, Tmac, Coker and Saunders are our 4 investments right now and they are way too similar.

There was no speedy X receiver in this draft. Golden is not a true X who is going to demand the safeties cheat over to his side and open up the offense. McMillan is that.

I feel like you can get a guy who is just fast in round 5. But you can't get a guy who catches the ball like McMillan anywhere but where we got him. I've never seen a Carolina Panther who snatches the ball out of the air like this guy does, his hands are incredible to watch.

Bryce was put up the best deep passing metrics in the NFL according to pff from week 12 on.

I'm just praying he continues the upward trend and breaks out this year

need a quick Y working the slot more than anything.   You don't need first round picks on those guys.   Not saying I want to go draft one tonight.  But Bryce needs a youngster to build chemistry with.  AT is the dude in need of replacement.   Bryce IMO is always going to lean to that area of the field.

I wouldn't hate if we took a quick twitch speedster in the 4th, but when you look at the WR room right now with T-Mac, XL, and Coker all in their first 2 years, even with Thielen there, I'd rather pick up a vet FA for that role than another rookie, just to get some more experience in the room.

Then once we lose Theilen, unless we hit it right on the FA signing for that speedster role, maybe we look at using like a 3rd rounder next year to fill the role, but that's a problem for next offseason hopefully.

You can keep talking about that cherry picked stat line.  Bryce Young in his entire football career.....has never been a deep ball guy.  Sure, everyone needs that in their game.  He does too.  That's not why we drafted him.    We don't need to try to wish him into a downfield passer.  We don't need to build an O that doesn't play to his strengths.

You know what weren't the best at?  Well below the league average in what we got out of the backfield.  Well below the league average in YAC.  That's easy yards. Those moves the chains.  And Bryce getting the ball out quickly to playmakers is literally why we drafted him......and we immediately traded away those guys right before we drafted him and given him none.

and AT was about to retire after this past season.

Hubbard, XL, Tmac, Coker, Saunders.   That's not in theory what you should have for a PG distributor you dump the farm in named Bryce Young.

CMC, DJ Moore, Anderson, Curtis Samuel, etc. was the Bryce Young O build.

Right. You want a quick hitting offense to receivers who can get open. The personnel around Bryce would be much better suited to a power run game and deep play action which would, unironically, be better suited to a guy like Sam Darnold.

Unless we draft another Theilen like guy later on, I truly don’t get it.

I still want Skattebo though. Have a feeling I won’t get that wish either.
