He would have been the 6th best wr last year, maybe 5th and we just took him at 8 overall.   We are in a bizarro world

What’s bizarre is to use a draft from another year to say someone was under or over drafted. The question is where he was rated in this years draft. Maybe he would have been the top pick in 1987, so he’s a total steal this year hurp durp

Brugler has him at 12 with him being WR1. I trust his opinion more than most. Picking the 12th best player and top of his position at 8 isn’t that crazy. He actually had him mocked to us in some of his drafts.

Brugler didn't have Hunter as a WR, only CB. Hunter was the Best WR and best CB in this draft.

I could've seen trading back and getting a 2nd round pick and taking Golden over staying at 8 and taking Tet who struggles with press coverage and DB's punching him during release.

Based on what??  ESPN has him ranked a 91.  That only below Harrison, Nabers, and Odunze putting him at WR4.  Brugler said he might be WR3 in last year's class as @Bear Handsjust stated.  Stop being so dramatic...

Funny I remember you telling me the same thing last year when I was against the XL pick.  How did that work out?

Says who? You? He would have gone 3rd after Nabers who went 6. Nobody had BTJ as an all pro guy pre draft

Even if true, who was a cleaner prospect in this draft where we were picking? Back to back 1300 yard seasons playing for a pretty volatile Arizona program. Every prospect on the board at 8 had warts.

Not to mention, how they’re ranked as prospects is never clean with the output. Marv Jr was this undeniable prospect but now people are really questioning if he’s a #1 with Nabers and BTJ looking like the absolute truth for their squads.

Also a lesson- never shy from the LSU receivers — minus that one we drafted lol

Golden wasn’t even the top WR on his team for much of the season.  He was always being overrated massively.  TMac will dominate.

corvette deal with it GIF

Yeah the Golden stuff truly made no sense to me, glad we did not end up with him.

Yep. Back to back 1,300 yard seasons is nothing to scoff at. He's produced and he's got the measurables, rather than the XL method of he's got the measurables but hasn't produced as much.
