Bryce cant be looking like an UDFA at any point again next season. He has to live up to that #1 overall QB status for every. single. game.

Pat Mahomes doesn't play as good every week as y'all expect Young to play. I have high hopes too but you're designing your expectations to piss yourself off.

This is what year 8 of the Tepper era…and still trying to find a .500 season?  Forget Rome.   How long does it take to build a log cabin on a remote island

Since owners are you know owners and can't be fired unless they have a scandal, most go by head coaches.... occasionally even GMs

It's year two of Cannalles/Morgan

Patrick had 10 games last year with 1 or less TD passes and at least one turnover....

anyone remember when RB Ricky Waters said basically the same thing Tet McMillan did about how he was passionate about  playing football but did not enjoy watching it  ?

i just hope history does not repeat itself & Tet turns out to be nothing like Ricky Waters

It's worth noting that Chandler Jones also said he didn't like watching football. And he finished top 3 in Defensive Player of the Year voting on two separate occasions. Jamie Collins said the same thing, that after work he'd rather watch a movie or play video games. I know Curtis Martin famously said in his hall of fame speech that he didn’t like football at all.

With plenty of trade options, the #Panthers stick and pick: They select at No. 8 #Arizona star WR Tetairoa McMillan -- T-Mac.

He's been quietly throwing with QB Bryce Young in LA. They two are already developing a connection.

Is this tampering !!!?? Lol

Meh.  Front office minus Canales has largely been here for some time now overall. They simply erased Fitterer from it and kept it moving…..and you still see a lot of the same concerns IMO.  It is what it is.

I don’t dislike Canales but it pretty evident Carolina has lacked the big picture folks to make it happen here IMO.  And flawed or not, there hasn’t been a clear vision post Ron Rivera.

I look frankly at Tepper’s soccer club for delusional hope it somehow happens on the football side.  Somehow has gotten it together over there.  I guess that’s the hope he can do it

He can’t get off press coverage in the PAC 12/Big 12. He is a go ball specialist who isn’t particularly quick. Defenses will play tight man, jam at the line, and still the only guy who will get open is Adam Theilen.

Taking this guy when you have both Loveland and Warren on the board is peak stupidity. Warren or Loveland could do everything you drafted Tet to do, and they can play tight end really, really well.

Adam will still be the only open receiver and Legette and now Tet will flail around trying to get off coverage for all but three or four snaps.

Welcome back to the Benjamin/Funchess experiment guys. That worked out really well when Benjamin got hurt and Funchess had a ridiculous season.

What. A. Waste.

They can’t sell me on BPA. They tried to trade down and when they couldn’t, they reached by probably 10 or more picks.

If this fails, or worse, hurts Bryce’s development, they all deserve to be fired. This is playoff year. This is Year 3 after taking a QB first overall. Taking Tet at 8 is a reach of reaches.

I hope it works out. I have a feeling it won’t. This guy isn’t Christian Watson or Mike Evan’s or Drake London. And each one of those guys plays with other receivers who can GET OPEN.

See you guys in August. This is garbage.

yeah Tet McMillian is not Mike Evans that is not a good comparision it's a lazy one if anything Tet looks like a slightly heavier George Pickens coming out of college

We will see, I do think Tepper has been influencing our drafts.

I think Free agency has been more influenced by Cannales/Morgan and indicative of what they want.... last year solidifying the oline and this year spending on the dline....

I hope it works as well as last year.

A pick that fit a big picture vision and plan that can be argued makes sense.  It’s more random parts.

we didn’t need an outside big body.   Bryce Young is our QB and we just did that last draft.  This one just has a higher floor and lower ceiling than the last.  Needed either D our a component of a Bryce O that was lacking

I think the casual fans are excited by receivers. This doesn’t make sense tactically, it doesn’t make sense in terms of roster building. It doesn’t make sense in terms of who was available in this draft.

The Falcons have had, in my mind, a great draft. The Giants have had the first round they wanted. The Panthers just reached for a guy.

We didn’t need a 50/50 ball specialist. We could have taken Warren or Loveland and got that to go along with a tight end. We needed someone like Golden out of Houston/Texas. The great teams in the league have fast, shifty receivers who can take an 8 yard out route 62 yards for a touchdown. Who can create 4 yards of separation with one toe on the ground.

They don’t have two stiff X receivers who can’t get off of press coverage for your 5’9 QB to heave prayer balls to.

Peak stupidity. Golden’s tape was insane. Egbuka is a true number one who can go and cut. Tet is a second or third option one trick pony who will hurt you when you play a defense who can play man.

We will get pressed all day long which will hurt the run game, and it will hurt Bryce.

I can’t even watch the CFC or whatever it’s called because of the horrible AppleTV deal MLS has.
Play

Regardless, none of this makes sense to me. In my opinion, this is an indication they believe Legette was a wasted pick, already. We have two guys who serve the same purpose, an aging Theilen, and a guy who would kill it as a 3rd option behind a guy like Golden and Theilen.

Why do you think they believe XL a wasted pick? Packers just drafted Golden and they 4 deep at WR......you need WEAPONS! As many as you can get
