REPORT: per Albert Breer, Panthers have been most aggressive team in attempting to trade back

The moving up/down talk always goes crazy the closer it gets to the draft because it's the most interesting thing to talk about for the media heads. Once it gets to draft night none of these moves end up happening. I'd say the odds are still heavily in favour of us picking at 8.

I believe that we will trade down especially if Sanders is still available and someone wants to jump in front of New Orleans.

I think our best chance to move down is if Jeanty is there.  I think Sanders could fall pretty far

I've seen him go before us and extremely deep into round 1. It's going to be how desperate a team is, especially if N. O. shows interest or no interest trying to hid their intentions.

Just like every draft it's all smoke and mirrors.

What about a pick swap like Dallas 12 and 44 for 8 and 57?

This my last mock probably. Tried to emulate what I think they want to do tomorrow and later on. Picks based off visits and meetings. Would be great if it works out this way.

Fitterer rubbed off on Dan more than we'd like to admit he's probably in a NFL GM Signal chat

Well he hired his friend and they had a lot in common. I belive lockstep was used frequently in their time together...

It's probably bigger than the GM since it's been a thing before Hurney left. Moore was a lock with our OC having a visible hardon at his proday.

Trade up and they will cry, trade down they will cry, don’t draft the exact player they want and they will cry. These people are gluttons for punishment following a team like this…

Drafting WRs that can’t catch and RBs that can’t run is what gets panther’s fans teary eyed. lol

We’ve been teary eyed for a loooong time.  If we honestly think our staff can’t evaluate talent then who cares if we trade down? More odds to simply get lucky right? Even a pessimistic view agrees with this….

On the surface most people are going to agree that more picks are a good thing. The problem is so far our FO has been unable to resist trying to speed up the timeline in situations like this and tries to fix everything they can in one draft instead of just taking the best talent that falls to them. There's a high probability this will happen again. Maybe they'll finally get lucky. But I'm not going to hold my breath on it.
