Are we gonna roll with 4 on gamedays?

One of the 3 will be on IR this season and they need an upgrade at kick returner. Blackshear will get competition from somewhere. It will be a RB or wr to kick return on special teams.

I agree that we need an upgrade on Blackshear, but they rolled with him last year.  I'm just saying RB is low on the needs for this team in the draft

Oh I agree. It's not a real need in the sense they must draft a RB. It is something to consider on day 3 when the focus is on special teams.

So, if we can't move back, these are the only players with first round grades, to the best of my knowledge.

Ranking them:

-Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan (prolly gone)

-Mykel Williams, edge, Georgia

-Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

-Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss

Ezeiruaku the edge out of BC generally has a first round rating

Brugler has him rated 22 and Jeremiah at 30

Seen some mocks in the mid teens although most in twenties

They really like Riley Leonard. Long term developmental backup kind of deal.

Well that's good to hear. Certainly Canales can walk and chew gum at the same time ie develop more than one QB. This will make me feel better about the QB room.

Getting Dowdle and returning Blackshear makes RB need extremely low.

Most of tbise are mid to late rounders so it's not round 1 only

Blackshear isn't an every-down back. The FO doesn't believe that he is either. He's here to return punts and kicks. And Jonathon Brooks likely ain't even playing in 2025. Who is the 5th guy...?

We have two legit guys right now to carry the load. Lord forbid that either gets hurt. This is a deep draft at RB. If they want to get a UDFA, OK...but this strategy hasn't really worked over the years from what I've been looking at. Day 3 is the answer.
